Morgan Stanley real estate veterans launch Arselle Investments (Alternatives Watch)

Los Angeles, April 2, 2025 - Alternatives Watch - Industry veterans Kev Zoryan and Aaron Greeno have established Arselle Investments, a new private real estate investment platform based in Los Angeles.

Zoryan comes to Arselle from his position as managing director at Morgan Stanley, where he led U.S. Asset Management for Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing (MSREI) and its private equity funds after serving as head of the West Coast and co-head of U.S. Acquisitions, overseeing numerous MSREI investments throughout the Americas.

Greeno joins from Dune Real Estate Partners, where he was a partner and head of the West Coast. Prior to that, he was managing director at Morgan Stanley and co-head of U.S. Investments for MSREI. The founders worked together during their tenures at Morgan Stanley, which lasted 25 years for Zoryan and 13 years for Greeno; together, they bring nearly five decades of diverse real estate investment experience, encompassing over $15 billion in transactions and 52 million square feet.

The Arselle strategy is to target problems arising from demographic shifts in the real estate industry, providing investors distinctive access to real estate opportunities through vertically integrated operating platforms to generate proprietary deal flow.

"Current real estate market conditions are being exacerbated by rapidly changing technology and professional demographics, and compelling investment opportunities are emerging across various geographies and real estate asset classes," said Zoryan.

Greeno added that rising interest rates, inconsistent property performance, and management changes throughout the sector are posing difficulties for numerous real estate firms. "We created Arselle to address these challenges and pair institutional investment and asset management with best-in-class operating platforms to deliver better alignment, execution, and ultimately returns for our investors," he said.

Arselle's team includes Bianca Tomkoria as principal, who previously worked at Goldfinch Partners and Dune Real Estate Partners where she executed over $1.2 billion in real estate transactions. Ebony Zepeda joins as chief of staff after working at Meraki Global Advisors and previously collaborating with both Zoryan and Greeno at Morgan Stanley from 2017 to 2019.

Arselle is at least the second new player to be established in the private real assets sector this year, following the February launch of Everview Partners by former Centerbridge Partners senior managing director and head of Real Estate Billy Rahm.
